REMATCH Inspection Process
Every skirt has to make the cut.
At REMATCH, we believe great style shouldn't require a brand-new price tag.
But pre-owned doesn't mean compromising on quality.
We carefully source our inventory from retail overstock and curated resale channels, looking for high-quality tennis, golf, and active lifestyle skirts from brands you know and love.
Then we inspect every single piece before it becomes a REMATCH find.
If it doesn't meet our standards, it doesn't make the collection.
Our Quality Standards
We look for pieces in one of four conditions:
New With Tags
Never worn and still has the original retail tags attached.
New Without Tags
New condition. Original retail tags are not attached. No signs of wear.
Excellent
Minimal signs of wear. Clean, well-maintained, and in excellent overall condition.
Very Good
Light signs of wear. Clean, well-maintained, and ready to play. Any condition details that distinguish it from Excellent will be clearly noted in the REMATCH Inspected section and shown in the product photos.
We don't list anything that doesn't meet our REMATCH standards.
Our Inspection Process
Every skirt goes through an individual inspection before it is photographed and listed.
1. Condition
We examine the overall garment for signs of wear, marks, fabric issues, or other imperfections.
2. Construction
We check seams, stitching, hems, waistbands, and other structural details to make sure everything is intact.
3. Features
We test zippers, closures, pockets, built-in shorts, liners, and other functional features specific to the garment.
4. Clean & Refresh
Every piece is carefully steamed and refreshed as part of our preparation process.
5. Final Review
Before a skirt gets the REMATCH stamp of approval, we give it one final look from top to bottom.
Only then is it ready for its next match.
Know Exactly What You're Getting
We don't believe in vague descriptions like “good condition.”
Every REMATCH skirt receives a specific condition rating, along with detailed information about its features, fit, measurements, and any notable characteristics.
Our goal is simple:
No surprises.
You should be able to look at a skirt online and feel confident about what will arrive at your door.
